2026 Primary Election Endorsements

Per our by-laws, the Palos Verdes Democrats only endorses candidate, measures, and propositions that have earned the endorsement of the Democratic Party. Those endorsement are earned through elections at the California Democratic Party Endorsing Convention, Regional Pre-Endorsement conferences, or through the LA County Democratic Party Central Committee. Endorsements require garnering at least 60% of the delegate votes at these conferences, which can be a high bar when there are many candidates for a particular office.

The lists below represent the official Democratic Party (and therefore, the Palos Verdes Democrats) endorsements for the June 2 2026 Primary Election. We have highlighted in Yellow those items that are of particular interest to our club membership. You will note that many of the races are not listed, indicating that the party failed to reach a consensus for that particular ballot item.
