U.S. Flag button Television Shows - Extremist & "Right-ish" (boo!):

("Know thine enemy" - be prepared to defend your position)
Be sure to contact the TV station whenever a show is particularly offensive with a "Right" or Republican bias - subtle or blatant - and tell them you didn't like the show and will choose not to watch it in the future. Also, whenever you buy a product advertised on a negatively biased show - or, especially, if you buy another brand! - let the advertising company know that you don't like their support of that show and that it offended you, or whatever. We can use negative clout just as well as the Republicans!

"Scarborough Country" - often "rigidly" right
Monday thru Friday, 7-8 p.m., MSNBC Ch. 72

(Note: For TV station contact information, see our Links page.)

"Fahrenheit 9/11 (2004)"
Scheduled to be released on October 5, 2004.
If you miss it in the theaters, don't miss the DVD!

"The Fog of War - Eleven Lessons from the Life of Robert S. McNamara (2004)"
Review by Robert Horton of Amazon: "The Fog of War, the movie that finally won Errol Morris the best documentary Oscar.... Morris interviews Robert McNamara, Secretary of Defense in the Kennedy and Johnson administrations, and finds a uniquely unsettling viewpoint on much of 20th-century American history.... Morris probes the reasons behind the U.S. commitment to the Vietnam War--and finds a depressingly inconsistent policy.... He also mulls the bombing of Japan in World War II and the Cuban Missile Crisis, raising more questions than he answers.... This movie provides a glimpse inside government. It also encourages skepticism about same."
[Webmaster note: based on various reviews, this movie is apparently negative about Johnson & Kennedy as well as McNamara, and is critical of some historical U.S. policies and actions.]
