Register to Vote:Webmaster Note: There are many who are now advocating that we request and use "absentee ballots" to assure a paper trail for our votes. Also, there are many who suggest that you especially try to avoid use of "voting machines" where there is "no paper trail" in any way you can (usually through an absentee ballot). You can visit the Secretary of State's website to print out a mail-in voter registration form: http://www.ss.ca.gov/elections/votereg1.html Note: Do not use their "online" registration form as it currently results in them mailing you a card which you then have to mail back - so that method is slower than just printing out their printable form and mailing it in.
